We leave Lviv at 7:00 a.m. and head to Rohatyn which is the birthplace of legendary Roksolana (Nastya Lisovska) Next, we are go to Kolomyya where we will visit the Pysanka Museum (Easter Egg), which is the only cultural institution in Ukrainethat exhibits such pieces of art. We will also enjoy the exhibition in the Museum of Folk Art of the Hutsuls Land and Pokuttya. Then we will take a drive through the Carpathian Mountains to Verkhovyna - the heart of the Hutsuls Land. Here we will tour the Museum of Hutsuls Life and Musical Instruments founded by Roman Kumlyk. One more must-see is the museum where famous Ukrainian writer Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky wrote his story Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors and Serhiy Parajanov created a masterpiece of Ukrainian cinematography. You will be able to tour Hutsulska Hrazhda (Hutsul farmstead) where Parajanov was shooting his great movie. Check-in. Sleep in the hotel.
Breakfast. Check-out. This morning we will head to the ski centre Bukovel – a real paradise for keen skiers.As we travel to the top of the mountain via aerial cableway, you will be able to experience the panoramic landscape of the Carpathians. Our next stop will be in Yaremche which provides probably the best panoramic opportunities in Subcarpathia. Besides, we will visit Probiy Waterfall and local souvenir shops. We will end the trip visiting the town of Halych where we will tour Museum of History of the city. Free time. Arrival in Lviv.
